Cox Building

114 High Street

Built by West Virginia Supreme Court Judge, Frank Cox, in the 1920s, the letters “COX” are still inscribed in the middle of the parapet roofline and the building is still in the Cox family. An interesting feature is the unique accordion shaped sides of the structure, which were designed to allow light into the building.
