The Morgantown Market Place is a multi-functional, solar-paneled pavilion in Downtown Morgantown. Constructed to house the Morgantown Farmers’ Market every Saturday morning from the first Saturday in May through the first Saturday in November, the Morgantown Market Place is perpetually growing and improving.
In May of 2014, Main Street Morgantown hosted the dedication of the Morgantown Market Place Culinary Station, which was made possible by the generosity of WVU Healthcare. WVU Healthcare and local restaurants host cooking demonstrations in this culinary station, demonstrating healthy cooking with fresh produce for all those who attend the Morgantown Farmers’ Market.
The Morgantown Market Place is also open for outdoor events and hosts over 4,000 people each week.
Check the Morgantown Market Place Facebook page for upcoming events.
