2014 Governor’s Awards

wv crestMain Street Morgantown attended the 2014 Governor’s Awards on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 5 p.m. at the State Capitol Complex’s Culture Center in Charleston.

At the event, Main Street Morgantown was awarded a Main Street Innovation Award worth $1,500 to begin implementing its new rebranding program. Additionally, Main Street Morgantown’s executive director, Terri Cutright, was recognized at the awards ceremony for her 25 years of service to MSM, and MSM’s “volunteers of the year” were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the organization.  Continue reading “2014 Governor’s Awards”


Board Member of the Year

sabrinaSabrina Cave, MSM’s board secretary and WVU’s assistant vice president of Student Affairs Communications, was featured in WVUToday as MSM’s “Board Member of the Year.”

“Through her leadership, Sabrina began a partnership between the WVU Mountaineer Parents Club and Main Street Morgantown during Fall Family Weekend to include Arts Walk and Art is Food. To this day, both events continue to be successful and are designed to bring WVU families to our downtown,” said MSM’s executive director, Terri Cutright.

“Sabrina is an outstanding board and executive committee member, and our partnership with WVU is strengthened by her participation and her leadership with our Organization Committee,” said George Papandreas, MSM’s board president.
